Denny Nelson, Broker/Owner of Grass Valley Homes, has 40 years experience in the real estate industry. For 16 years he was employed by a national financial firm: as a branch manager responsible for real estate loans; as an internal auditor; and as a legal liaison for the company at a major California law firm.
For the past 25 years Denny has been a real estate agent and broker. He started with Red Carpet Realty where he received invaluable training in all aspects of the real estate industry. He was a member of the Multi-Million-Dollar Club all but the first year and office manager for a staff of 23 salespeople for two years, as well as an instructor at the Red Carpet Licensing School.
In 1982, as a real estate broker, Denny opened his own company, now Grass Valley Homes. Since 1977 he has listed and sold over 750 properties, including residential, commercial, income, and land. Presently Denny is a member of the Nevada County Board of Realtors and sat on the Board of Directors for two years. He has also served as a State Director of the California Association of Realtors as well as at the local level. He is also a member of the Nevada County MLS. This is something he truly believes in and proudly displays the Realtor and MLS sign.
